In 2019, Lena Park stood in a Tokyo artisan’s workshop, watching bamboo fibers being hand-shaped into makeup brushes. Their softness—honed by 12 generations of craft—made her rethink the scratchy tools she’d used as a makeup artist. Three months later, she knelt in a Bulgarian rose field at dawn, dipping a vial into dewy petals; the heady oil smelled like "sunlight in liquid form," the farmer told her. By winter, she was in Iceland, filling jars with glacial meltwater—its mineral-rich clarity left her skin glowing, even in frigid winds.
These moments collided when Lena realized: great beauty wasn’t just in one ingredient or tool—it was in connecting the world’s best. Her kit, stuffed with Tokyo brushes, Bulgarian oil, and Icelandic water, felt like a "global hug for skin"—but no brand offered that seamless blend. So she set out to build it.
"DewFlash" came from a sunrise in Kyoto: as dew droplets caught light, she thought of her vision—natural "dew-like" goodness that delivers instant "flash" of radiance. She partnered with the Tokyo artisan to refine brushes (adding a grip inspired by Icelandic stone textures), worked with Bulgarian distillers to turn rose oil into skincare serums and perfume, and mixed glacial water into lightweight makeup primers.
The first collection launched in 2021: bamboo brushes paired with rose-infused moisturizer, and a candle that filled rooms with the same Bulgarian field scent. A customer in New York wrote, "It’s like having Tokyo’s precision, Bulgaria’s warmth, and Iceland’s freshness on my vanity."
Today, DewFlash’s network spans 6 countries—from Korean sheet mask makers to Moroccan argan oil suppliers. "We don’t just sell products," Lena says. "We bring the world’s most caring details to your daily routine."
